Terms of Service

These are the terms that apply when you use Loot, a creative production tool operated by KPG Media Ltd ("we", "us"). By signing in, you agree to them.

What Loot is

Loot is software for planning shoots and approving content. We host the app, store your uploads, and send the emails you ask us to send. We don't produce the creative work, supply talent, or take responsibility for what gets shot.

Your account

One account per person. Use accurate contact details. You're responsible for keeping your sign-in secure; if someone else gets in through your account, anything they do counts as yours.

Your content

What you upload and write into Loot stays yours. By using Loot you grant us a non-exclusive licence to host, transmit, and display that content to the people you authorise — and only to the people you authorise. We don't claim ownership of it. We don't use your content to train AI models, ours or anyone else's.

You're responsible for having the rights to upload whatever you upload — image rights, talent releases, music licences, brand approvals. We'll remove content if a credible rights-holder complaint reaches us.

Acceptable use

Don't upload illegal content. Don't use Loot to harass anyone. Don't try to break things — no probing for vulnerabilities, no scraping, no automated abuse. If you find a bug, email it to us instead of exploiting it.

Workspaces and sharing

Workspace owners control roles and access for their workspace. If you publish a share link, anyone with that URL can see whatever the link covers — even people you didn't intend, if the link gets forwarded — until you revoke it. Use share links accordingly.

Beta status

Loot is under active development. We may change features, take things down for maintenance, and ship the occasional bug. There's no formal SLA — we run it best-effort. If something's broken, tell us.

Termination

You can stop using Loot any time. To delete your account, email us. We can suspend or close accounts that violate these terms; for serious breaches (illegal content, fraud, attacks on the service) we may do so without notice. Deleted accounts have their content removed after a short grace period in case of mistaken deletion.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for anything to do with Loot is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Currently that's £0 — Loot is free to use during beta.

Loot is provided "as is". We don't warrant anything beyond what English consumer-protection law requires.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute we can't settle directly goes to the English courts.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we change anything material, we'll email active users. Continued use after a change means you accept it. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent change.
